Support comes in all forms to a school, including financial, in-kind, consultants, coaches, government entities, and the community at large.

The entity that has evolved over the past four years-called the Williamsburg Charter High School-owes its success to many individuals, groups, and private and public funders. The following list is only a representation of this support. It continues to grow as the school further institutionalizes itself and deepens its roots in the Williamsburg, Brooklyn community. Many of these supporters are still involved in the evolution of the school and others were instrumental in its early years.

Substantial in-kind support has been provided by the Center for Education and Innovation-Public Education Association over the past several years, via the onsite mentorship of Senior Fellows William Colavito and Harvey Newman.

Michelle Cahill, former Senior Policy Advisor to the Chancellor of the NYC Department of Education and currently a Vice President at the Carnegie Corporation was the catalyst for the WCHS via her mentorship of the school's founder and C.E.O., Eddie Calderon-Melendez.
