Make a Difference

The Williamsburg Charter High School is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization that relies on the support and generosity of individuals, foundations, and government grants to provide high-quality instruction to its students. As a charter school, WCHS receives approximately 80% of the funding allocated to traditional public schools, making philanthropic donations and fundraising efforts a critical component of our success. Any donations made to the School are tax deductible. We deeply appreciate your gift.

Holiday Toy Drive

Established in 2004, the Williamsburg Charter High School (WCHS) is located in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn and provides low income high school students from North Brooklyn with a better education than they would in a typical public high school setting.

As a community charter high school, WCHS wants to ensure that we are taking the word “community” to heart, and thus this year, we are initiating an annual toy drive and holiday party for local children and families in need.

Each family will receive 1 gift per child, enjoy music and entertainment, and snack on holiday treats. We hope to provide an annual holiday experience that will benefit our community as a whole.

We hope that this event becomes a staple in the community which will build relationships with families and local stakeholders, bring students and WCHS staff together towards a greater good, and create a line of communication and connection with our school and community.
