Ms. Parker has been performing and teaching in NYC and around the world for 10 years with the Metropolitan Opera Guild, Education Through Music, The American School in Switzerland and for the last four years at Williamsburg Charter High School. She holds degrees in Vocal Performance and Choral Conducting from Boston University and and Advanced Certificate in Music Education from BCCM. Since she’s been at WCHS, she’s received grants for a music production and computer lab and modern band instruments. Under her direction the WCHS choirs have performed at the United Nations and throughout the city. When she’s not teaching or making music, she is cooking, studying photography and spending time with her family in Brooklyn.
