At age ten, I was playing school with my younger brothers and sisters, I was always the teacher. Presently, I am teaching A.P. United States History, AP Government and Politics, and Regents Prep. Teaching is not easy, you must bring everything about your self to it, all of your talents, qualifications, hard work and most of all… patience. My motto is if I have helped at least one student to reach their full potential, I have been one of those resources that have helped them to be a successful individual in life. Education is the gateway to a better life, a better future, a generational shift and a means to ones goals. Coming from a single parent home with limited resources, I truly understand the phrase, “each one, teach one”.
